What are the signs of poor gut health in dogs?
Gut imbalances can show up in many surprising ways. Whether it’s behavioural issues, messy poos, vomiting, weight struggles, bad breath, foul flatulence, skin problems, joint concerns, or sometimes no symptoms at all (!) - the aim of the Gut Health Test is to go beyond masking symptoms with short-term fixes.
Can I use a discount code on the Gut Health Test?
No, our Gut Health Test is excluded from being discounted using any of our discount codes. You can however use codes on our gut health supplement range.
My dog doesn't have any symptoms. Is it still worth doing a test?
Yes! To be suffering from gut imbalance or to have issues with their gut health, dogs don't have to be displaying clear symptoms. Since there are so many environmental factors that can impact the balance of their microbiome diversity, and the fact that it just naturally declines with age, it's never safe to assume that your dog's microbiome and gut health are functioning at 100%. Where is my activation code?
As soon as your order has been confirmed you will receive an email to your inbox containing the activation code for your test kit. Once your test kit arrives you will receive a link to go online to activate the test kit and complete the activation quiz to tell us about your dog. You will need the code from the email to complete the activation.
How do I receive the results?
Once your dog’s sample has been analysed, you’ll receive a comprehensive report via email detailing their gut bacteria profile. The report provides insight into how your dog’s microbiome is influencing key areas of health - including immunity, digestion, skin and coat, joints, and behaviour. You’ll also learn which aspects of their nutrition are being affected, such as how well they’re digesting protein, fats, and carbohydrates, and what nutrients they may be struggling to absorb or unlock. This report will live online in your Pooch & Mutt account section.
