The best thing to feed your dog is the best food that you can afford, that your dog looks good on, behaves well on and is generally happy with. At Pooch & Mutt we recommend that your dog is fed on a grain-free dog food. Whilst there are arguments both ways on whether or not dogs can digest grain, what we know for sure is that most dogs do not do well on a diet high in grains such as wheat. The foods that do contain grain tend to contain a high level of grain, so it is best to stick to grain-free dog food.
Yes! All of our food has been carefully tested and approved by nutritionists and vets to create a trusted product your pooches love.
Our wet food is manufactured in the UK with fresh meat and natural fruit & veggies sourced locally from British farms, helping to reduce our carbon footprint and support local farmers. Our dry food is manufactured by our long term partners in the Czech Republic. Our suppliers for animal products are all committed with the compliance of EC Regulations regarding animal welfare.
In addition, in accordance with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard, a procedure has been implemented for approving suppliers and for monitoring suppliers performance. This procedure includes audits to suppliers to verify on-site the full observance of EC regulations regarding quality, food safety, environment and animal welfare.
