Puppy feeding guidelines This recipe is suitable for puppies, but the kibble is designed for adult dogs. If your dog is overweight, we would recommend feeding for their goal weight as opposed to their current weight, e.g. if their goal weight is 15kg and they currently weigh 20kg, use the feeding calculator to find the daily recommended feeding amount for 15kg. The reduction in daily calories will help their body to burn the stored fat as energy until they reach their goal weight. This will depend from pooch to pooch and on how much weight they need to lose. Diet wise, it really is a matter of cutting down calories and ensuring your pooch is active. We would recommend feeding at their goal weight for a few weeks and then re-weigh and re-evaluate.
We would recommend our Slim & Slender dry food. If they are overweight, this may be putting extra stress on their digestive system and causing wind. Slim & Slender contains prebiotics & probiotics which can help to aid digestive health, and the lower calorie food will help with their weight loss.

You can, however we do recommend sticking to one food to ensure your dog is receiving all the natural ingredients they need for their specific condition, especially if their goal is weight loss - additional calories form other foods may hinder their progress.
