Dental sticks are a very useful tool, especially for those canines who aren’t big fans of the toothbrush. The abrasive surface scrapes along teeth, preventing plaque from sticking to the surface of the tooth and even breaking off chunks of calculus. We would never recommend giving dental sticks to puppies who still have their baby teeth. In fact the best thing you can do is start your puppy from an early age getting used to having their teeth brushed with general handling training.
